Heritage Walks

Lead a Seaside Heritage Walk - Clacton-on-Sea - 27th May

Join Blue Badge tourist guide, Josie, on a walk to discover tales of sandcastles and deckchairs on the beach, boat rides, thrills on the pier, fish and chip suppers and variety shows in the evening. And to round off your walk why not stop for fish and chips and a cup of tea on the promenade.

All walkers and trainee guides will meet at the Venetian Bridge at the Pier Gap in Clacton-on-Sea at 11.30am on 27th May 2018.

These free walks are offered as part of the Resorting to the Coast project, sponsored by Heritage Lottery Fund with Essex County Council.

What's involved?

Participate as a new volunteer joining the walk to see how it's done and follow up training will be provided so you can lead future walks.

Why get involved?

New volunteer tour guides can help the walk continue as part of the legacy of Resorting to the Coast.
